How much do Custom cakes Cost?

 Pricing depends on the size of the cake and the design.  Custom cakes start at $85.00

 What if I need a cake outside the normal hours of Operation?

 

We will work with you for your special event. Please let us know when placing your order to ensure we can accommodate.

Is a Deposit Required?

Yes, we require 50% of your total order price up-front as a non-refundable deposit.

Why is the deposit non-refundable?

We manage our priorities according to our current orders. We start prioritizing your order at the time it’s placed, which means there may be other orders that we have to turn down so that we can create your Cake Dream. Your deposit helps ensure your spot in line, and provides a safety net for our business.

How early should I place my order?

In order to design you the best possible cake, we prefer to have weeks notice (if possible). This may seem like an excessive amount of time, but we specialize in turning your cake dreams into a work of art. Contact us about pricing for Rush Orders.

Do you ship across the United States?

Yes, we ship the following items:

  • Small, single-tier buttercream cakes

  • Cake jars

  • Push Cake Pops

  • Banana pudding

  • Popcorn

  • Custom Sprinkles

  • Cheesecakes

Unfortunately we can't ship tiered cakes or fondant-covered cakes. Why no fondant? It will not arrive as it left, once shipped.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards and cash. We also accept payments on Cash App, Venmo, and PayPal. For your convenience, we will accept credit card payments over the phone, or we can send you an invoice by email. Send us a message for details or questions.

Refund/Cancellation Policy:

A non-refundable deposit (50%) is required at the time the order is placed. The remainder of the balance is due in full on the day of your event or at the time of pick-up. In the event that orders are not picked up, or there is an issue with delivery where the customer or venue is at fault, all monies paid are forfeited. Cake-A-Boo will make every effort possible to contact you in instances where there is a missed pick-up or an issue with delivery.

Wedding cakes are required to be paid in full 1 week before the wedding. Everyone is extremely busy that week and no need to add additional pressure for payment.

Donation Requests

We love being a part of the Kansas City community. We currently work with many local community organizations and non-profits (you may have already seen us at a few fundraising events). We strive to help offer free/discounted items for a good cause. Please use this link to inquire about donations from Cake-A-Boo. Please be sure to include which organization you represent and its purpose, what the donated items will be used for, and your non-profit tax ID number. Due to the volume of requests for charitable donations, we may not be able to fulfill all requests.

Do you offer Gluten-Free Options?

Unfortunately not at this time. Unless we can put our stamp of approval on it, we won’t offer that product.
